To enlist in our mailing list, The Indie Lantern asks for consenting participants to provide certain personally identifiable data, including name and email. The information we collect for the mailing list will be used to contact and identify you. The information we collect for the mailing list is not shared with third-parties of any sort. Additionally, The Indie Lantern collects personally identifiable data on behalf of the TikTok group, the Indie Author Advocate Community (IAAC), led by the same founders of The Indie Lantern for TikTok live author readings. This information is shared with the extending members of the IAAC only. The information we collect for the live author readings will be used to contact and identify you. The information we collect for the live author readings will only be shared with the members of the IAAC. We will never sell or trade your data.

Children & Minor's Policy 

The Indie Lantern believes in protecting the safety of legal minors under the age of 18 in the United States of America. Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. While we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13, in the case we discover a child has provided us with this information without parental permission it will immediately delete from our data. If a minor under the age of 18 has signed up for an IAAC live without parental permission, we will immediately delete their information from our data. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
